Dear Church Family,
What a blessing it was to see some of you last Sunday! And what a blessing it was as we had 4 new guests join us in our first service back. We are praying that God will bring more people to us because of this pandemic.
I want to especially thank those who are making sure we are being cautious in keeping church services as safe as possible. You were fantastic. Just a reminder that we have face masks available to any who come to a service and may need one.
Thanks to all who are giving either online, by mail or at our services. I want to mention that we are having special giving for one of our mission’s areas this month – One Great Hour of Sharing. If you would like to give to this, please make sure it is noted by whatever means you use for your giving. We need to remember that areas we support beyond our local giving still have the same needs as they always have.
Once again, if you do not yet feel comfortable in coming to the services, please take advantage of watching either on our website (dunbarfirstbaptist.org) or on our Facebook page each Sunday at 10:30 AM. If you have questions about coming to the service, please look online, refer to the last letter for details or call your deacon.
On Wednesday’s, we are studying through the book of 1 Thessalonians. A new Bible study is available each Wednesday afternoon.
Thanks to Tammy and Steve Myers who covered for Summer Drake while she was unavailable to present our Sunday 10:00 AM and Wednesday 7:00 PM children’s lessons – although we are having adults watch, too!
The church office is open each weekday from 8:30am – 12:30pm.
Don’t forget that God wants to use our church wherever and whenever – especially beyond the walls of our church building to share the love and name of Jesus Christ.
